Glad that nonsense is over with. Thought I'd let th' lot 'f you know I'm gonna be gone for a few days, so you don't think that bloody spook killed me or nothin'. But I uh.. seem t' be missin' some 'f my stuff. Cassidy? You seen an ammo pouch? 'Bout this big *He holds his hands about four inches apart.* Leather an' full 'f ammo?

*He smirks a little and holds up a large solid bone knife.*

*BLU hangs up and gets to work gathering all the things he'll need for his trip. He's not planning on being gone for that long, but still .. best to be prepared.

When he shows up at RED base he stowes his backpack against the wall, along with a long flexible fishing rod, and knocks on the door. He's glad for the coat Chibi gave him, he can barely feel the chill in the air with it on.*

[There's a minute or so that passes before RED finally gets to the door and pulls it open. He steps aside so BLU can come in. He spots the pack by the wall.]

Fishing?

Yeah. Gonna see what th' ocean has to offer in cold weather. Maybe somethin' good.

Sides, think I should get away fer a bit, who knows when that damn spook will start thinkin' my back looks loike a good place t' store his knives. Anyway, here ya go.

*He hands over the knife, wrapped in a small scrap of cloth.*

Hn. I can't say I don't envy you, bein' able to get away.

[There's an extra shudder at the end there as he thinks, knowing that if BLU is back to normal, chances are Pyro is as well. There's a conversation coming he'd rather avoid entirely.

He takes the knife and tucks it into the crook of his sling, unfolding the fabric and pulling out the blade for examination. His eyes trail the markings down the side.]

She's a real beaut, mate. Fine craftsmanship.

[Tucking the knife back into the fabric, he hobbles to the den, collecting BLU's ammo pouch from the coffee table and bringing it back. He hands it over.]

Not that I don't think Cassidy would've been careful with your things, but I know I'd've been a mite antsy if it were me.

[And given that his gun was in the hands of a complete stranger and he still had no idea where it was or what condition it was in, he could relate.]

*He takes the offered pouch, flipping the flap over to check the contents.*

Half expected t' find this full 'f tea leaves or something loike that.

*Sure. That's what he was looking for. Tea leaves.*

Yea she seems nice enough, an' stable compared t' some 'f the other people round here, but that don't mean I want other people holdin' onto my stuff.

*He almost smirks as he ties the pouch back onto his belt, feeling more at ease once the comforting weight of it was hanging against his leg.*

I've tried to put myself to sleep and forget he's here. Forget a lot of things, really.

Well he's a lot less loikely t' poison you than me. And considerin' th' fact I was a dog he could 'f killed me easy plenty of times.

Especially since I mussed up his suit and bit his shoes.

He deserved it, I'm sure.
