You're putting out a call and the beeping is wakin' me up from a nap, that's what.

RED? You're still .. RED right?

No, I went and bloody switched sides while I was in the hospital. Thought I might borrow your clothes and no one would notice, since someone around here thinks we look alike anyway.

Not what I meant. Nevermind.

Then what?

*He'd reply, but he's having one of those weird moments where he did something and now he's small and furry again.

He barks at the communicator as if that will make it turn on again and let him reply. Instead he picks up the comm with his teeth and trots out of the room he's in. Better being a dog than being a girl anyway. At least he doesn't feel weird looking at himself like this. After the badger thing.. this isn't so bad.*

[Hm. No answer. He calls again.]

You there, mate?

*Oh great, it's back on again. He drops the comm and flips it over with his nose. It's hard to glare when you're a dog, but damn is he ever trying. He sits down with his ears drooped and barks at RED.*

[BLU has a dog? Seems like something that would have come up with all the talking about what a great dog Chibi is, but RED just raises an eyebrow.]

Oi. Never knew BLU had a dog.

He barks some more and then flops down with his head on his paws. This is annoying. Hmm... RED was just joking about actually wearing his clothes right? He's obviously not in them which means it's possible...

He picks the still on comm up with his teeth again and trots off towards RED Base, sniffing occasionally for the telltale sign of Sniper.*

[It's a little jarring as the feed goes from showing the dog to showing half the dog's mouth as the phone is carried to wherever the dog is taking it.]

Hey! Dog! BLU ain't gonna be happy you walked off with his communicator doovalacky. You listening?

*Sure he's listening, he growls a little as he approaches RED Base, the sounds of snuffling around the door. He drops the comm so he can sniff the footprints in the snow. Ah, there's what he assumes is the scent of RED, this dog thing ain't half bad. He picks up the comm and runs down to the townhouse.

He's much bigger than Chibi, but he sticks his head through the dog door and barks. Come on RED, show yourself, you BLU shirt stealing bastard.*

[RED, who had been watching the device until it shut off upon being dropped on the ground, was startled by the sudden barking through the dog door. Getting to his feet, he hobbled to the entrance to his house, finding the pooch he'd been speaking to waiting for him. He looked a bit confused as he opens the door for him. He took the moment to peer outside- no one else on the porch. Hm.

He turned back to the dog.]

Right. I guess BLU might've brought you here once or... Hn.

[He was trying to put it together somewhere in his head, but it just didn't add up.]

*He trotted into the house, glad to see that Sniper was still in that dog-eared hoodie instead of being in his BLU shirt.

Guess he couldn't make fun of that sweater anymore could he?

This was going to be incredibly awkward if he suddenly turned back into his girl form but for now he was just going to make himself at home. By sniffing around for any food.*

[RED watched the dog start sniffing around, figuring out what he was looking for- not that he had any food in the house, though. His own aching stomach reminded him of that. It was something he probably should have thought about before leaving RED base, but his pride wasn't damaged enough for him to call for help. As far as he was concerned, he could walk back anytime he wanted to. Or felt like it. One of those.

For now, he watched the dog quietly, leaving the door open for him for the moment.]

Hm. I'd feed ya if I had anything, but I'm goin' hungry, too. You should probably head on back ta BLU's. Wouldn't want him wonderin' where you'd run off to.

*Of course not. He wasn't hungry enough to go digging through the garbage but he was pretty hungry.

He plopped his butt down on the ground and tilted his head at RED. Barking once before sighing and dropping his ears. This was awkward.*

I already said I got nothin' for you. I'm sure—

[He paused.]

On second thought, I've seen how that BLU bloke eats. He probably doesn't have anything for you. Assumin' you are his dog and not just some mongrel that stole his phone. Either way, I've got nothin' here. All the food I know of is at the RED base.

*He growls. Then heads over to the phone. Can he use it like this? He pokes the screen with his nose and it turns on.

Okay that's good. Right. Now then. How did Chibi do this?

He pokes some of the keys with his nose.*

*Oh that worked well. *

[RED sighed, wondering what it was with him having visitors when he was trying to sit quietly and not die from lack of pain medication, food, or both.]

Ya best give that here before you break it. I'm sure BLU wouldn't appreciate that.

*He growled at Sniper when he reached for the comm, fully intending to snap at him and bite his hand off if he got too close.

He tried to push some more buttons with his nose again. But whatever it was that turned him into a dog suddenly reverted and he fell face first into the comm.*

Oh bloody hell.

[RED's heart nearly leapt into his throat as there was suddenly a girl where the dog had been. Not just any girl, either- Cassidy, the demon dog girl of... some sort. His attempt at masking his surprise was poor, at best.]

Cassidy. Ya might tell people you can turn into a dog before you go showin' up at their 'ouse lookin' like one.

If I knew she could turn int' a dog I would have bloody told ya!

*Wow that accent sounds weird coming from his now soft little girl voice. He stands up and picks up the comm, tucking it into the pocket of the big black overcoat he's wearing. The only thing in her closet that kept him from looking too much at himself.*

I don't want t' hear nothin' about this.

[That accent, and the messages from BLU- pieces came together in RED's mind, forming a picture he'd rather not have seen. His look went from irritated to a stifled horror in the course of a second. He had no words.]

I ain't happy about it either.

*He folds his arms and glares down at the ground, hair falling into his eyes.*

Paradise can be roight rotten sometimes.

[RED looked away, unsure of what to say. Everything that came to mind was just laced with the same horror that colored his face.]

How did this, er... happen?

[And better yet, how could he keep it from happening to him?]
